Game Play
Keep in mind that this game is designed for 2 people only, which means that it can be a battle of strategy, intelligence and craftiness instead of being dependent on chance alone. The object of the guessing game is to be the first player to identify the card selected by the opponent, thus, its name.
The game starts with each player having a board with 24 cartoon images of people and their first names while a separate deck of cards with the same images stands by. Then, each player selects a card from the deck, asks various yes or no questions, and then eliminates all the candidates.
The beauty of the Guess Who game is that well-crafted questions will allow the player to eliminate the cards from the opponent’s board. It is, indeed, a game of tactics.

Game Tactics
The main tactic used in this guessing game is splitting up the tile population in whatever way one is comfortable with. Take note that the questions are only binomial in nature – yes or no – so it is best to divide the tile population in a logical manner.
For example, players can divide the population into 5 and 19 such that there are 5 people with red shirts and 19 people with non-red shirts. This tactic assumes that the player has analyzed all the cards for the differences in clothing, accessories, features and other characteristics.
Yet another tactic to winning the Guess Who game is to ask questions that will yield answers resulting in the tile population dividing in half – or nearly half. For example, a question can progressively narrow down the tiles from 24 to 12 to 6 to 3. When only 3 possibilities remain, guessing is the best option.
In time, guessing which card the opponent holds based on what you know of the people in the 24 tiles is easier. Just make sure you practice the binomial questions so that your opponent will literally give away the answer.

Juts like most modern games, the Guess Who game has evolved to include many versions. Aside from the classic 24 tiles, there are travel editions with just 20 tiles as well as editions with characters from pop culture included in the tiles.
