The Perfection game is a game produced by Milton Bradley that helps children build speed and accuracy and helps them to recognize shapes. The object of the game is to fit all 25 pieces into their matching slots (with the platform pressed down) before the time runs out. Players will have 60 seconds to place all 25 pieces and once the time is up, the Perfection game platform pops up. This game is best suited to those in the age range of 5 to 9 but continues to entertain people of all ages.
Game Play Instructions
First of all, you can have anywhere from 1 to 6 players playing the game of Perfection. Some users have reported that they feel it’s easier if there is just 1 or 2 players but you can play with more.
To start the game, simply scatter all of the geometric shapes and then press the Perfection platform all the way down. Once the player is ready, set the timer and watch them try to place all 25 pieces. If they don’t finish in 60 seconds, the platform will pop. If they finish before the time runs out then whatever time they had left will be their score. Whoever places all of their shapes the fastest wins the game.
Perfection Fun on the Run
In addition to the standard game size, there is also a travel version called ‘Perfection Fun on the Run’. This edition is small enough to carry along in the car, office or on-the-go and it features everything the original Perfection game does – all in a smaller size.

Superfection: For Advanced Players
Superfection is just like the Perfection game but it’s a bit tougher. In this edition of the game, you actually have to make shapes that will each have 2 pieces and place them onto the Superfection platform. In essence, there are more pieces to place but you are still given just 60 seconds. Superfection is perfect for adults and children who have mastered the original Perfection.
1970s Perfection Jingle
When you’re into Perfection, keep on your toes
You have to be quick, ‘cuz here how it goes
Push the plunger down, set the timer
Put the pieces in place, don’t be slow
In Perfection, you’ve gotta move on fast, move on fast
Or the pieces pop out before you put in the last
And that’s Perfection.
1990s Perfection Jingle (same tune as “Pop Goes the Weasel”)
Put the pieces into the slot
make the right selection
but be QUICK! You’re racing the clock
POW! Pop goes Perfection!
This piece here and that piece there
Put those pieces EVERYWHERE!
But be quick, or beware
