The Risk board game is for 2 to 6 players and was invented by French Film director Albert Lanorisse, manufactured by Parker Brothers and first released in 1957. It is a game of strategy and chance and the original version saw the winner of the game dominating the entire world.
The stated playing time for the game is 1-6 hours with average games running between 3-5 hours while games played by avid experienced players can last more than a day.
